Remembrance Day takes place on November 11 to mark the moment the hostilities of the First World War came to an end at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918.The first Remembrance Day was held in 1919 throughout the Commonwealth.The occasion was formerly known as Armistice Day. The name changed after the Second World War.Poppies’ use as a symbol of remembrance was inspired by the poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ by Canadian John McCrae, with its opening lines referring to the thousands of poppies that were the first flowers to grow in the churned-up earth of soldiers’ graves.

I like summer because there is no school for a few months. Summer is fun because there is no homework for a long time, oh and you can play games, play outside as long as you want. Another reason I like summer because my birthday is in it, so I can invite friends and family.Summer is fun because there is no STAAR.My birthday is on June 29, 2006. These are the reasons I like summer.

I chose Plymouth because the pilgrims and the Native got together. The Native showed the Pilgrims to plant the seeds and put fish around it to make the soil richer. Oh, and don’t go to Jamestown because they attack the nice Indians and killed a lot of them. The indians showed the pilgrims how to hunt, make tools, and fish. I think Plymouth is a good place because they are nice to each other and that how I like it.Oh, and they had Thanksgiving with each other too.

In 9/11 it was nice day it was just a nice day until a BIG boom came out of nowhere. There was a plane in the twin towers. People thought it was a accidit. The news came on saying there was a plane   as crash.  Then there was a other  plane that crash in the other tower. People were crying and running a way the Twin Towers have broke down there was a lot of dust.Now there are making a other one but taller and you are never bringing USA down again
